Schedule : 311weekdays 9am3p and / or 3pm11p onweekends

We are currentlyseeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional to join ourresidential care team in Southampton a tranquil and serene locationin the Far Northeast.

This role will involve providingcomprehensive care and support to three remarkable residents eachwith their unique needs andpersonalities.

About OurResidents :

Resident1 : Requires full support with daily activities dueto limited mobility. This involves assistance with personal hygienemeal preparation and regular monitoring to ensure safety andwellbeing.

This resident also presents some behavioral challengesrequiring patience understanding and a proactive approach tocare.

Resident 2 : A gentle and reserved individual primarily spending time engagedwith digital devices. This resident has specific health needsincluding dysphagia necessitating vigilant oversight to preventdietary risks.

Regular checks are essential to ensure safety andadherence to dietaryguidelines.

Resident3 : An independent spirit who values selfsufficiencybut benefits from a friendly presence and occasional assistance.

This resident enjoys participating in community and householdactivities embodying the vibrant spirit of ourhome.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Providingpersonalized care and assistance to residents including help withmobility personal hygiene and dailyroutines.
• Preparing meals in accordance withindividual dietary needs andpreferences.
• Regularly monitoring the wellbeingof residents performing checks every 15 to 30 minutes asneeded.
• Encouraging and facilitatingparticipation in social activities including outings to the Y forexercise shopping lunch and yogaclasses.
• Collaborating with team members tocreate a warm safe and inviting environment for allresidents.

Requirements :

• Acompassionate patient and resilientnature.
• Abilityto work effectively as part of a team and communicate withcolleagues and residents alike.
• A commitment topromoting the independence and dignity of those in yourcare.
• Must be able to perform physical tasksinvolved in the care and support ofresidents.
• Valid DriversLicense for transportation requirements related toresident activities.
• PA CriminalClearance within a year to ensure the safety andsecurity of ourresidents.
• Physical and 2step PPDor Quantiferon (within a year) to confirm the healthand readiness of the candidate for the caregivingrole.
• CPR and First Aidcertification to prepare for any emergencysituations that mayarise.
